The variable frequency air conditioning system for 600 km/h high speed maglev prototype project successfully passed the first article inspection of CRRC Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd on November 23, 2018. The air conditioning system is developed and manufactured by Shijiazhuang KING Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd based on the concept of energy saving, environmental protection and green in the overall design. It meets the requirements of European standard EN 45545 and standard TB/T 3139.

The 600 km/h High Speed Maglev project is a key research project in China's-13th Five-Year Plan. The air conditioning system for its prototype is successfully developed, which not only marks the development of the air conditioning system for 600 km/h High Speed Maglev project has achieved a phased victory but also accumulated valuable experience and provides important reference for the development of the air conditioning for a new generation of the final high-speed maglev project.
